Places for each tour, performance and event are booked individually, and entry also requires a valid Biennial Day Pass. Capacity is limited and allocated on arrival for booked guests. Events take place at the Design Doha Hub in Fereej Al Asmakh and at partner venues across Fereej Al Asmakh and Msheireb Downtown Doha. Age guidance is listed with each session.

Guided tours, live performances and exhibition moments carry the Biennial beyond the gallery wall. Across the opening days of Design Doha Biennial 2026, visitors can walk the exhibitions with expert guides, hear music rooted in the region’s heritage, and gather for openings, launches and screenings.

IMMANENT DRIFT
Live performance by Arshia Sobhan
Canadian-Iranian artist and designer Arshia Sobhan activates the exhibition's exploration of the performative and ritualistic dimensions of Arabic and Persian script, considering the letter through action, gesture, rhythm, image, sound and the body.

Opening event with welcome remarks and live music
An opening event at the Modeen exhibition, Light & Process, in the Fereej Al Asmakh courtyard. It features welcome remarks by H.E. Juha Mustonen, Ambassador of Finland, and representatives of the Modeen family, followed by a short performance by saxophonist Pekka Pylkkänen, accompanied by pianist Igor Agrich.

LISTENING TO THE NAQAB: SOUND, STORYTELLING AND TEXTILE ACTIVATION
Live performance by Lobna Sana and Mohamed Al Faraj
A live sound and storytelling performance that activates Lobna Sana's installation, treating it as a spatial instrument for listening, gathering and movement. Sana performs a live soundscape from field recordings made in the Naqab, while Al Faraj moves voice, memory and narrative through the work. Visitors can experience it from around the installation, with no fixed seating.
