Nora Aly is an independent designer based in Cairo, Egypt. She works as an adjunct Professor at the American University in Egypt (AUC). She is mainly interested in Arabictypography which acts as a core element that she integrates in other creative endeavors such as visual communication, branding, type design and graphic design. Her interest in typography is also evident in how she engages with language, not only as a tool to manifest thoughts but also as means to shape our collective identity. She holds a master’s degree in Graphic Design from the German University in Cairo.
