The Trophy

A collaboration between Design Doha and pioneering Qatari designer Shaikha Al-Sulaiti

Presenting Shaikha Al Sulaiti, the designer and creative force behind the inaugural Design Doha Prize Trophy for 2024.

The trophy incorporated lettering from the Design Doha logo to create its form, inspired by the shape of the Midkhan, which is culturally used to welcome guests into Qatari homes. Metaphorically, it symbolizes Doha’s welcoming of Arab designers and their contribution to in enhancing the MENA region’s cultural design movement.
