The visionaries behind the 2026 edition
Design Doha is under the patronage of Qatar Museum's chairperson Her Excellency Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. Led by Fahad Al Obaidly, Director of Design Doha, whose work bridges culture, community, and Qatar’s creative ecosystem, the Biennial is further shaped by Glenn Adamson, a leading voice in global design discourse; Noura Al Sayeh, whose curatorial practice connects regional narratives with the present; and Javier Peña Ibáñez, who advances future-facing design through international collaboration and experimentation.
