By bringing diverse worlds into conversation, traditions and emerging voices, local insights and global perspectives, the Biennial creates a shared horizon in which new forms of knowledge can surface. Within this expanded space of encounter, design reveals its capacity to illuminate possible futures, opening pathways shaped by the multiplicity of perspectives that gather, collaborate and reimagine what lies ahead.
The Biennale is held every two years, providing an ongoing focus for the rising energy of Qatar’s creative sector. Fahad Al Obaidly serves as Acting Director and Glenn Adamson is Artistic Director.
The second next edition of Design Doha will take place from 12 April to 30 June 2026, with an exclusive three-day opening ceremony from 12–14 April 2026.
