Design Doha 2024 Programs

The Design Doha forum's goal is to inspire attendees to envision cities as living canvases where design serves as a vehicle for communication, personal and community empowerment, economic growth, and meaningful cultural exchange.

Marchitecture is an annual month of events and activities dedicated to Architecture and Urban Design.

The Design Doha Residency, celebrates the connectivity and intersections of contemporary craft practices and innovative design among International and Qatari makers. This exchange will manifest during Design Doha through a research residency for the designers at Liwan, where the makers will host open studios, talks, hands-on workshops, and press viewings.

Design Doha Learning Labs aim to explore the diverse applications of today’s Arab design while bridging gaps and honoring cultural values, with the themes of “Arab Design Towards a Better Tomorrow,” “Arab Design Towards Dialogue and Unity,” and “Arab Design Towards Cultural Renaissance.”
