- Who is eligible to apply?
The open call is open to all design professionals and teams based in or from the MENASA region. - Can I submit more than one design?
Yes. Designers may submit multiple concepts, provided each concept is clearly presented. - What are the key requirements for the gift?
The gift must be practical, easy to carry and display, and must reflect the prestige and values of Design Doha. It should incorporate the official branding guidelines and colors, and be suitable for all categories of recipients. - Who will receive the VIP gift?
The gift will be presented to jurors, finalists, advisory committee members, and sponsors/partners of Design Doha 2026. - How many gifts will be produced?
Approximately 100 gifts will be produced. - What should be included in my submission?
Applications must include concept sketches and renderings, material and production details, a design rationale, dimensions and practicality, personalization options, packaging design, a sustainability plan, and a budget breakdown. - What are the evaluation criteria?
Submissions will be assessed on creativity, originality, craftsmanship, practicality, adherence to the theme, and the ability to create a memorable and prestigious experience. - Will the winning designer retain intellectual property rights?
Yes. Applicants retain intellectual property rights. The winning designer will grant Qatar Museums and its affiliates the exclusive right to reproduce, exhibit, and promote the design worldwide, while retaining all moral rights. - What is the deadline for submissions?
Applications open on 2 October 2025 and must be submitted no later than 1 November 2025, 00:01 AM (GMT+3).
