Design Doha Prize Category: Emerging Talent

As part of Design Doha’s commitment to providing a platform to designers, we seek to recognize Emerging Talent from Qatar and the MENASA region. Prize winners in this category should be currently enrolled in a design program or have earned a design degree from 2024, 2025, while showing promise for outstanding future development and leadership in the field.​

Interior Design

Design Doha Prize 2026 Components:

Each of the four selected designers (one from each category) will receive:

  • FINANCIAL GRANT – 200,000 QAR for each category winner.
  • RECOGNITION AND EXPOSURE
  • MENTORSHIP – 2 weeks business of design residency.
  • ACCESS TO GLOBAL RETAIL – The winners' collection will be carried for one season.
  • DESIGN RESIDENCY – Design Residency connects participants with designer projects in Qatar.

Any discipline within the design spectrum, including but not limited to:

  • Product Design
  • Graphic Design
  • Interior Design
  • Furniture Design
  • Industrial design
  • Sustainable design
