Since joining Zaha Hadid in 1993, Woody Yao has worked on a number of winning competition designs including Cardiff Bay Opera House (UK), The Rosenthal Centre for Contemporary Art Cincinnati (USA) MAXXI Rome (Italy) and the Changsha Meixihu International Culture & Arts Centre (China).
During this time Woody also designed, managed, and delivered a number of seminal built projects including the Spitellau Viaducts Housing Project (Austria), Hotel Puerta America (Spain), Guangzhou Opera House (China) ROCA London Gallery (UK) and the Jockey Club Innovation Tower at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong SAR).
