The exhibitions propose worlds in which craft becomes navigation; materials trace new geographies, ecologies frame emerging horizons, and rupture opens a space for renewal. Together, they form a subtle yet coherent firmament, a network of practices that question linear narratives and instead trace plural, shifting trajectories. Within this wider constellation of exhibitions, Arab Design Now 2026 emerges as a grounding point—bringing these questions into sharper focus through the lived realities, practices, and conditions of design across the MENASA region and its diasporas. Design Doha 2026 will offer deep insight into the contexts and thought processes that shape design in the MENASA region (Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia) and its diasporas. It will explore design against the backdrop of geography, agrarian practices, manufacturing, technology, identity, and political change.
